There’s so much fun in store.

At Lutheran Jamestown, good health and good times go hand in hand. Residents enjoy engaging activities, community-building events, and a connection to the natural world – the ingredients of a life well lived, every day.

The Great Outdoors

Living on our park-like campus helps our residents achieve a balanced, fulfilling life by being aligned to the changes of the season and energies of the earth. From winter’s snowy silences to spring’s rebirth, Lutheran keeps you connected to Mother Nature.

Wellness / Fitness

With nutritious meal plans, engaging social programs, and a variety of physical activities, our health and wellness programs help residents live a truly holistic lifestyle.

With on-site fitness centers and healthy programs like walking clubs, our residents have no shortage of ways to stay fit. Also, off-site cultural activities and weekly religious services improve quality of life, prevent social isolation, boost cognitive function, and promote emotional health.

Dining

Nutrition changes for adults as they age, and the right foods are essential for healthy living. While everyone has different needs and unique preferences, there are key elements to a good diet for seniors.

Lutheran’s culinary services team is dedicated to providing a superior dining experience. Personalized meals, grab-and-go food options, flexible eating spaces, and local ingredients are just a few of the ways we provide nutritional meals our residents love.

Our culinary team takes pride in delivering excellent customer service and a pleasant experience at every meal based on our residents’ preferences, dietary needs, and seasonal themes.

Spiritual Life

Prayer, Bible study, spiritual concerts, and religious services provide opportunities to grow and deepen the faith of residents and their families.

CHRIST CHAPEL AT LUTHERAN

A Lutheran chaplain is on site, attending to the spiritual needs of all residents when requested.

Pastoral Care

As a ministry of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, Upstate New York Synod, Lutheran was founded as a place where the needs of the whole person are ministered to with dignity and respect for each person’s religious and spiritual beliefs.

Bible study

Bible studies are held at numerous times and locations. Specific days and times can be found on the monthly activity calendars or by speaking to activity or pastoral staff.

End-of-Life Support

Lutheran staff show special attention to support the end-of-life needs of residents and their families. From medical care and pain management to personal, emotional, and spiritual support, the staff works as a coordinated team throughout this time. We also partner with Hospice of Chautauqua County to add an additional level of compassionate care.
